At Yokogawa Romania, location Bucharest we are looking for a new colleague (f/m) in the position of: 

 

                                                                     

                                                                                        Credit controller

                                                                                           40 hrs/week

                                                                                      YEF-RO, Bucharest

This is what you are going to do!

As Credit Controller for European region, you are responsible for the implementation and execution of efficient credit management and control for our organizations in Europe, for all relevant activities from customer credit checks, proactively and decisively cash collecting to (financial and operational) cash and invoice reporting.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Analyze credit check reports and advise on maximum outstanding credit limits
  • Advise on creditworthiness of new and existing customers and execute risk mitigation actions.
  • Monitor payments progress and take appropriate actions regarding outstanding invoices to optimize cash position and minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Proactively manage and coordinate the process of collecting payments from customers
  • First point of internal and external contact with respect to outstanding invoices
  • Generate financial and operational reports regarding outstanding invoices and payment behavior to ensure relevant stakeholders can take appropriate actions.
  • Prepare monthly 3rd party AR overdue report per operating company and regionally consolidated
  • Provide weekly reports of outstanding receivables and invoices paid.
  • Report financial statements with respect to accounts receivable aging analysis and provision for doubtful debts.
  • Clearing credit related general ledger accounts periodically
  • Calculate provision based on the aging analysis of outstanding invoices
  • Risk assessment of individual customers

 

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics is preferred
  • 1-3 years’ of experience in Credit Control and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Knowledge of and understanding credit rate methods
  • Good communication skills, persuasion, perseverance and good negotiation skills taking cultural differences into account
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with client accounts and information
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with proactive approach to be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, good to advanced Excel capabilities
  • Very good command of English (writing, speaking and financial terminology)
  • Fluency in German/French/Italian is a plus
  • Knowledge of software such as SAP is a plus.
