What you’ll be doing

  • Provides a single point of contact for internal clients regarding IT applications operation
  • Takes ownership of the internal customer request
  • Performs first level support
    • incidents/customer complaints recording/classification/prioritization
    • issues escalation/follow-up
    • update the customer on progress
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of the incidents
  • Troubleshooting and analysis for finding the root cause of issues
  • Scripts development for the automation of recurrent processes
  • On call support

What you need to know/have

  • This position requires at least 2 years of experience in first level support area, preferably for telecom applications
  • Technical university background is also desirable – IT, Telecom, Electronics, Cybernetics
  • English advanced verbal and written skills
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems – command line and shell scripting
  • Experience in database systems: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server – procedures, packages, functions, scripts

Represents a plus if you have experience with:

  • Programming languages: C/C++, Java, Perl, Python etc
  • Networking basic knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing etc.)
