CUSTOMER & SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
The position reports hierarchically to the Everel Romania Quality Manager and functionally to Everel Group Quality Director
Place of work: Everel Romania, Lipova (Arad)
Main responsibilities:
A. CUSTOMER QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Interface with the customer, able to explain which are our capacities, transmit to the Plant the customer requirements
- Assure that production is informed about the Q status, customer satisfaction in real time
- Assure quality of the product, change management of the product
- Inform customer about the status of implemented actions regarding quality issues.
- Analyze and develop actions plans for Customer Returns, Non-quality (sorting activities)
- Updating of quality tracking charts: Customer returns, Q Wall's, scrap cost related to complaints
- Has the authority to stop production lines, in every situation when there are reflected safety risk, quality risk related to the operator or to non-compliance of the products
- Represents the customer in Everel Romania Site regarding quality issues, communications / escalations
- Participate on internal and external audits (customer, ISO)
- Coordinates the validation and approval of new or modified processes
- Train existing employees and get new employees familiar on quality aspects
- Get involved in the selection of suppliers for new projects
- Prepares Quality specific documents for changes in mass production or transfer of different variants or new products;
- Check effectiveness of corrective actions, related to customer complaints
- Use of statistic tools.
B. Supplier Quality Assurance
- Evaluate suppliers capacity in respect of Quality during selection / sourcing process
- Participate and support suppliers’ development process
- Plan and realizes suppliers’ audits
- Define boundary samples together with suppliers
- Prepare and realizes incoming inspection documents
- Inform suppliers regarding quality issues of received component, realizes and track complaints to suppliers
- Record and report additional costs arise due to issues of received components
- Realizes collection and monitoring of Non-Quality Expenses (scrap, sorting hours, etc)
- Decide and monitor sorting and repair activities
- Evaluate records and introduce corrective measures in case of deviations or tendencies to deviations
- Manage all incoming inspection activities
- Check effectiveness of corrective actions, related to supplier complains
- Will know and apply in its field related legislation in force (SSL, ES, and so on).
- Comply with IR (Internal Rules), CLA (Collective Labor Agreement), Individual labor contract and its annexes.
Personal and Professional:
- Degree in Technical Science, specialized technical courses
- Require specific experience in the same position/field (at least 3 years)
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints. Effective and persuasive presentation skills on controversial or complex topics.
- Good knowledge of English is necessary and good knowledge of Italian will be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, familiar with SAP;
- Solving problem orientation, autonomy, efficiency, diplomacy, honesty, ability to work to targets, resistance to work under stress, team player, meticulous and constant work, complete the profile;
- Grade and salary will be commensurate with ability.
