What you will be working on

We are currently looking for a Customer Proxy to join our Social Impact division.

Our partner is one of Europe’s leading HR and payroll services providers, with custom made solutions for clients ranging from Small/Medium Enterprises and Self-Employed people to Large Enterprises.

You will work on building customizable software, touching all areas of activity: budgeting, planning, end-to-end administration, document management, salary/cost structure, payroll/performance and absenteeism mapping, customer portal and large database integrations.

Another business line is dedicated to accountants and bookkeepers, with applications ready to cover thorough analysis, calculations, direct lines to pay slips, tax certificates, social balance sheets as well as access to social-legal news, partner updates and smart tools.

The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the business needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects.

What you will do:

• As a customer proxy you are the representative of the customer in the project team.
• You work as a team in order to define the functional requirements.
• You share responsibility with the scrum master/project leader for the preparation and planning of the user stories.
• In the development team you are the contact person for all functional questions.
• As a member of the development team you supervise the development and the testing of the functionalities described in the user stories.
• Have a thorough understanding of the applications, systems and (business) processes that are both in scope for the project and exceed project boundaries
• Have an overview of the project end-to-end
• Create business requirements (both Functional and Non-Functional), change requests, mock-ups, diagrams, data mapping documents, etc.
• Create detailed user stories based on requirements, as input for development teams
• Support the development team in understanding business requirements
• Manage the product backlog together with scrum master/project lead
• Ensure traceability from business requirements to delivery
• Ensure that the developed solution meets the business requirements

Requirements:

• You are able to assess the needs of the customer.
• UML knowledge (ActivityDigram, SequenceDiagrame, UseCase Diagram, etc);
• You have a critical mind; you can conceptualize things and you have a fair amount of analytical and synthetically skills.
• You are precise and thorough, assertive and able to take the initiative.
• You have a great sense of responsibility and you are able to deal with assignments independently.
• You are result-oriented with an eye for risks and quality.
• Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Very good verbal and written communication in both English and Romanian language
• Eager to learn and continuously grow
• Self-driven and flexible
• Problem solving approach and analytical thinking: understanding linkage between contexts, solutions, needs, changes, stakeholders, and value in both the abstract and the big picture
• Proactive and can-do attitude
• Able to work both individually and in cross-cultural teams
• Excellent communication skills: effectively communicate information, ideas, concepts and issues so that others gain knowledge and the information is understood.
