Customer Quality Engineer (Brasov)

Job description:

Ensures high customer satisfaction for our premium products for carlines such as: Mercedes A & B class, Porsche, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, VW, Audi and others.

Job responsibilites:

• Monitors and analyzes quality data from the customer’s reporting systems and SAP modules, according to current specifications and procedures and informs the organization regularly;
• Reports the specific KPIs on a regular basis;
• Analyzes and validates sales deduction recharges;
• Coordinates root-cause analyses together with the plant team and submits 8D reports to the customer, ensuring that the corrective/preventive measures are implemented effectively;
• Ensures constant communication with the customer, through all the methods agreed, including planned/unplanned meetings at the customer’s premises, audits and sorting actions, in close collaboration with the Quality Process Engineer in charge;
• Has the authority to block/unblock products from being delivered, in case of nonconformity found, according to quality standards and internal procedures;
• Conducts informal audits in the plant and actively contributes to its continuous improvement;

Job requirements:

• University degree in a technical field;
• Minimum three years of experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement in automotive industry;
• Relevant experience in automotive customer service;
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive quality standards: IATF, VDA
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality instruments: FMEA, Ishikawa, PPAP, 8D, CC/SC, customer specific requirements
• Complaint management knowledge: SAP & Scanview
• Advanced command of English language/intermediate level of German language is an advantage
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to coordinate an analysis team
