Customer Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the submission and approval of PPAP/initial samples (incl. change management)
• Responsible to include customer specific requirements and all important aspects for the customer in the internal product audit check list and to agree boundary samples where necessary
• Assures consistency of the Eberspaecher quality indicators (customer ppm, complaints, etc) with the indicators reported by the customer
• Review part handling practices at the customer assembly line to check the adequate use of our products
• Drives customer complaint resolution process and the follow up of related action plans and ensures robustness of 8D
• In case of rejection or conditional approval (. grade 3 for VW, SS? for PSA, Z for Chrysler, etc) a transparent action plan must be followed to pursue full approval. Applies equally for modifications.
• Manages deviations (product, process) in series production
• Has the responsibility and authority to stop nonconforming products, shipment and/or production

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in automotive industry will be a plus
• Good knowledge of PC, English, German will be a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
