Purpose of the position
The customer service agent is responsible for processing customer orders and complete the associated tasks such as ordering returnable containers, advise forwarders for collection / delivery.
He/She is entitled to communicate directly with the customer, analyze customer demand, take actions to best serve the customer in time , quantity and budget.
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess average MS Office skills
- Fluent or advance English speaking and writing , also French or German is a plus
- Able to work under time constraints
- Motivated and driven towards personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer call offs every day.
- Analyze fluctuations and respond to the customers according to the
- Plan deliveries and advise forwarders for collection
- Maintain system information up to date
- Order returnable packaging , maintain stock accuracy by operating transaction in customer portals in time
- Take measures to prevent delivery shortages.
- Checks undelivered order items ( works with relevant reports )
- Finalize tasks according to the daily standard work sheet.
- Work with change implementation team to inform all supply chain team and minimize impact from changes such as obsolete stocks or shortages.
- Performs other tasks according to company requirements and instruction of direct or functional Manager
