How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Manage the import/export processes and activity to ensure compliance with Romanian laws and customs regulations.
• Develop, implement and maintain standard trade compliance procedures for inbound and outbound business in Romania
• Determine and obtain the necessary licenses and permits relating to import and export operations for DHL Express Romania
• Interpret and implement regulatory guidelines
• Build and maintain good relationship with local Customs and CAs. Ensure the whole customs clearance procedure compliance with Customs and CAs related laws or regulations.
• Optimize and continuously improve customs clearance process.
• Understand customer needs and devise specific solutions if required

Skills & experience

Do you have what it takes?

• Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and Customs Authority
• Presentation skills (excellent)
• Local customs clearance knowledge of Customs rules and processes
• Experience gained through country import / export industry
• Established network of contacts within the local customs and regulatory environment (it is a plus)
• Technical qualifications in the customs field
• Team player;
• Communicative, creative, analytical thinker, ability to plan and organize your own work;
• Fluent in English and Romanian
