CUSTOMS BROKER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing customs brokerage services to the clients of the company by:

• Collecting and analyzing information about the goods and freights, subject to customs formalities.
• Checking documentation, calculates respective duties and charges, prepares all customs entries and related papers, according to regulations.
• Filling in TRANZIT, EXPORT, IMPORT logbooks all MRN.
• Submitting the required documentation before the Customs office and other authorities.
• Ensures good collaboration with Port authorities and Customs officers in order to plan and follow smooth customs clearance process.
• Assures the highest standards of clients service, meeting all customer demands. 
• Contributes to increasing business volumes and improving company financial results.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree.
• At least 1 year professional experience in the field of customs brokerage or port & marine services.
• Sound knowledge in the assigned area - Customs code and related customs regulations, specific procedures for customs clearance, service providers and clients, customs integrated systems NCTS, RCDPS, ECS.
• Ease in operating with customs software.
• Fluency in English - both spoken and written.
• Very good computer literacy – MS Office, business e-mail, skills in providing necessary information effectively using search engines and all relevant channels.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate.
• Customer- oriented attitude.
• Energetic and result-driven personality enjoying challenges.
• Clear driving license – category B.
