We are looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cyber security methodologies.
What you will do:
- Perform evaluation of the security risks on the vehicle or vehicle fleet
- Involved in development of projects lifecycle from ideation, design, coding to implementation:
- Define requirements and select hardware for secure embedded systems
- Write low-level software to enable the use of security hardware
- Work with Software Engineers to integrate security systems with FEV software infrastructure
- Collaborate with teammates on the Cybersecurity team to design secure systems
- Develop and advise on execution of security implementations for Mobility proof-of-concepts and innovation advanced projects
- Prepare presentations, document learnings, disseminate reports
Bonus points for having experience with:
- Safety certification (. ISO, IEC, EN 5012X, DO-178B/C, etc.)
- Experience with security hardware such as Trusted Platform Modules, Hardware Security Modules, etc.
- Experience utilizing cryptographic algorithms and implementing security-oriented subsystems
Job requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification
- 5+ years professional experience building embedded systems
- Experience with automotive communication protocols ( CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, etc.)
- Experience writing software for embedded microcontrollers in C or C++
- Experience debugging embedded system software and hardware using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Nice to have experience with: Python, Adaptive Autosar, Embedded Linux
- Any cyber security / network certifications are desirable (CompTIA Security+, Palo Alto, CISSP, CCNA, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
