Cybersecurity Specialist

The Business Area ContiTech develops, produces and markets products, systems and intelligent components made from rubber, plastic, metal and textiles. These products are used in mining, the agricultural industry, railway engineering mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting of locations and IT competence centers regarding cybersecurity topics and policy compliance;
• Evaluation of Cybersecurity approval requests and coordination with corporate and divisional departments;
• Communication of cybersecurity topics and demands; Reporting of divisional Cybersecurity Status;
• Discovery of weaknesses in the area of Cybersecurity working with plant IT teams;
•  Handling of Cybersecurity incidents;

Requirements:

• Academic Degree and 3+ years' of equivalent experience in infrastructure/systems engineering;
• Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date cybersecurity tools and structures;
• Knowledge of Client and Server infrastructure and mutual understanding of application’s architecture;
• English – Advanced & German – nice to have;
• IT service management skills (ITIL) – would be great :);
• Soft skills:
• Eagerness to grow/ personal development;
• Available for travelling (10-20%) worldwide;
• Project Management, presentation skills;
• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in an enterprise business environment;
• Technical, analytical, interpersonal (firmly) and organization skills;
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal;
