Data analyst

Terms:ull-time, Contract 

The role

We are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to join the team and add value to our customer experience services. The candidate needs to be a strategic thinker with technical expertise around data, reporting, and analytical approaches and how they can be applied to improve business decision-making and outcomes. This is a hands-on analytical role in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities 

• Transform raw data into actionable and meaningful analyses.
• Work with the team to define and clarify analytic requirements, develop analysis plans, and ensure data quality standards.
• Identify key metrics and develop dashboards and/or reports to better the understanding of product performance.
• Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to provide decision support.
• Document data requirements and think through complex problems to make actionable recommendations.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed.

Qualifications 

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in IT or computer science-related
• Advanced understanding of relational databases, ability to code using SQL with P/L SQL orL/pgSQLreferred
• Experience in BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
• Experience with non-relational data such as document databases, column-oriented databases, or graph databases is very helpful
• Experience coding with a language for data analytics (. Python, R, Java, Scala) preferred
