About the role

We are looking for a Data Architect to work on diverse and challenging projects. Here, you will be involved in everything from writing custom code for data pipelines (batch and streaming) to using ETL/ELT tools, architecting, designing and implementing data warehouse models (SQL, dbt, Dataform).

Locations and remote opportunities

Please note that we are planning on opening an office in Romania and new team members will be given a choice between remote work and the office. Our flexible remote policy allows for both or even for a combination of the two.

Requirements

Your skillset is essential and highly appreciated as it will allow you to join right into the fun of our activities. You will need:

In terms of the technical skills for this role, you will need 3+ years' experience with:

• SQL (impeccable fluency)
• Architecting and designing complex data warehouses
• Picking the right data modelling technique for the given use case

As well as extensive familiarity with:

• Data modeling techniques: Kimball, Data Vault
• Data Warehousing: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Greenplum, Oracle, DB2 or similar
• Relational Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft or similar
• NoSQL Databases: MongoDB (Atlas), Cassandra, DynamoDB or similar
• OS: Linux, MacOS
• Version Control: Git

Soft skills

• Self-starter, proactive in finding solutions
• Experience working in a distributed team
• A strong sense of ownership
