Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will develop, maintain, evaluate, and test big data solutions. You will be involved in data engineering activities like creating pipelines/workflows for Source to Target and implementing solutions that tackle the clients needs.
Your Primary Responsibilities Include
- Collaborate with the team, design, build solutions using the Talend product set and develop reports rationalize existing code
- Write and administer ETL jobs (extract and load data), integrate data from different data sources
- Deliver Talend solution implementation and support
- Translate business and technical requirements into data interfaces, data transformation jobs and design data models
- Ensure development guide and best practice for developing Talend solutions are followed
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Talend ETL - fully proficient with development and administration of Talend Open Studio and Talend Server - Experience developing with the Talend product suite
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Deep knowledge and hands on experience with dimensional Data modeling
- Data warehousing concepts, reporting concepts
- Working with cloud platforms (docker, Kubernetes)
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proficient in English (written/spoken)
- French - nice to have
