What are we looking for:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience of 3 – 5 years, with solid exposure to analytical/data related projects
- Relevant background and experience as a Business/Data Analyst
- Experienced in business requirements analysis
- Experience in the full lifecycle of the implementation process by being involved in designing, building, testing and validating business requirements
- Usage of Databases (relational models): analyze source data, understand data structures, data content, data quality (completeness, correctness, validity etc.), understand of data modeling, data profiling (experience with PL/SQL required),
- Able to propose Data Quality Indicators for the respective area
- Previous usage of BI Tools and/or Data Visualization tools
- Acted as trainer or developer of training material
- Knowledge of the financial industry & main banking operations
- Strong knowledge of banking & finance fundamentals, retail/commercial banking products, and back/middle & front office operations
- General awareness of the software/applications supporting banking products/services is desired
- Good knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks and other compliance related reporting requirements such as NBR reporting, COREP, FINREP, etc.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, fast learner, experience in driving cross divisional business initiatives and projects

Your day-to-day activities
- Perform business analysis & requirements management in collaboration with the Business Units
- Ensure complete and correct definition of the Business Requirements in the specific format and validates together with the Business Units the requests
- Oversee the implementation of the Business Requirements, by clarifying all open issues appeared in the life cycle of the change (including those issues which can appear during analysis and development phases), and supporting the Business Unit in User Acceptance Testing Phase, this way ensuring that the proposed solution covers the requests from the business line
Business data meaning –uniformed understanding and documentation
- Establish together with the business representatives consistent and uniformed formal definition and documentation of each business data meaning
- Harmonize definitions of the business terms within all involved stakeholders and establish business ownership and maintenance
- Coordinate definition of Data Quality business rules for each (critical) data element, including definition of proper reconciliation rules to be applied in production of the reports
- Run data profiling, analyze source data, understand data structures, data content, data quality (completeness, correctness, validity etc.), and propose DQIs (data quality indicators) for the respective area
- Establish & manage the maintenance of a report inventory/catalogue (mapped to common terms & definitions)
- Design business relationships between data elements, based on the definition from Data dictionary (Glossary of Business Terms)
Maintain Conceptual data model:
- Design business relationships between (critical) data elements, based on the definition from Data dictionary (Glossary of Business Terms)
- Review links between attributes found in the Business Glossary of Business Terms and data elements and physical attributes
- Review the physical implementation of data by IT and its alignment to the Conceptual Data Model
Data Quality standards implementation
- Ensure that Group and Local data quality standards are implemented, properly monitored and transparently reported to all relevant stakeholders (business and proper governance forums)
- Coordinate the process of business data quality requirements definition and offers support for Data Owners, Data Stewards and Data Consumers in defining data quality controls and indicators to data under their ownership, including proper reconciliation rules to be applied in the production of the reports
- Ensure Data quality issues are investigated and coordinate root causes analysis in collaboration with the Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT. Support prioritization of Data quality issues based on formalized criteria
- Perform regular monitoring on the data quality rules and in indicators and escalate data quality relevant topics and issues to both local and group relevant stakeholders/data governance forums
- Develop remediation plans and action points for DataWarehouse/Business Intelligence environment for issues already identified and acts proactively by defining proper measures and process improvements
- Understand business and technical data quality standards, rules, indicators and specifications, including, data quality acceptable thresholds for deviation. Those thresholds levels must be aligned with the criticality of the data defined by Data Owner and Data Steward
- Contribute to the local Data Quality Tool functional and technical requirements according to data quality standards
- Raise awareness and deliver content to the management stakeholders and business users on data quality related topics by developing training plans, training material and deliver trainings, when necessary
Facilitates user acceptance testing and preparation of test data
- Coordinate the preparation of the prerequisites such as use cases, acceptance criteria, test scripts, data requirements, test environment, training
- Monitor and facilitate proper execution of the User Acceptance Testing and the resolution of the reported bugs, documenting appropriately all required information and activities

- Monitor and facilitate proper execution of the User Acceptance Testing and the resolution of the reported bugs, documenting appropriately all required information and activities
Provide training, knowledge materials and relevant proactive support to the Business Units
- Raise awareness and deliver content to the management stakeholders and business users on data governance related topics by developing training plans, training material and deliver trainings, when necessary
- Perform internal training and knowledge transfer in regards to working methodology (incl. Tools or templates) within the Team, act as a consulting point for pending or unclear issues
Assess and monitor compliance with data governance principles, standards and policies.
- Perform regular monitoring on the implementation of Data Governance principles, standards and policies, conclusions being consolidated in Data Governance Compliance statuses
- Coordinate the agenda for the Data Governance Forums, by ensuring proper content and correspondent participation and drive the content in the sense that topics are being agreed among participants
