Data Protection Manager

Atracore is looking for a DPM in Cluj-Napoca.

We are searching a Data Protection Manager, a professional whom academic and professional career was built around the main sector targeted by the company: The Life Sciences. The DPM will work primarily as a project manager and as a DPO for clients. The main tasks include counseling, data protection analysis, client representative to subjects and supervisory authorities. So, the DPM is the first point of contact. This function can manage other people: The Data Protection Manager Associate.

Job Description:

• Participate in meetings with customers.
• Perform data protection gap analysis (DPGA).
• Carry out the Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Develop procedures, guidelines and templates.
• Give advice and recommendations on data protection.
• As a data protection expert, stay informed about the latest developments in this area.
• Organize internal information sessions on practical data protection developments in the Life Sciences sector in order to keep the operational knowledge up to date.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Research.
• Solid knowledge of the GDPR and the protection of data in general.
• Strong knowledge of the field of Life Sciences to GDPR and to data protection.
• Leadership and persuasion skills.
• Able to manage some persons in a benevolent and efficient way.
• Analytical mind.
• Good ability to interpret and react.
• Master one or more foreign languages, fluent in English.
• Able to travel abroad, 50% to 25% of travels in EU.
• Knowledge of clinical studies and GCP is an asset.
• Establish a permanent relationship and dialogue with the hierarchy, colleagues, his team and clients.
• Listen to the point of view of the interlocutors in a situation of negotiation or consultation.
• Resist sources of stress.
• Flexible.
• Possess a developed sense of listening.
• Meet deadlines.
• Improve one's practice and skills through the autonomous and proposed learning.
