DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

SCOPE:

Responsible to implement the data protection strategy and  to ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

THE PERSON IN THIS POSITION SHALL:

•  Fulfills the role of the Data Protection Officer in the scope as regulated by the GDPR and local law;
• Offers support other departments and companies from KRUK Group in the area of the data protection;
• Reviews documents and agreements in relation to data protection processing;
• Monitoring company’s ongoing compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws;
• Provides the ad hoc or other specific reports regarding the data protection;
• Keeps management informed regarding their obligations under the Regulation, and acts as the primary contact point for supervisory authorities;
• Developes training sessions for employees of KRUK Romania to ensure an adequate level of knowledge of personal data protection requirements;
• Participates in the international projects conducted in KRUK Group;
• Offers support to Data Protection Officers in other KRUK Group companies; ;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree (the background in law  would be additional  advantage).
• Very good understanding of EU Data Protection Regulations;
• Expertise in Data Protection laws and practices;
• Ability to transfer data protection concepts into clear recommendations;
• Proficiency with MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
• English language -  advanced level, both writing and speaking;
