POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for an Associate Data Analyst responsible for providing in depth support and reporting for our internal clients’ data/analytics needs, while actively developing data-driven solutions and working directly with internal and/or external clients/ data management team provide the Sustainalytics organization and its clients with data driven products and data analytics acting as an important safeguard of the quality of data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, analyze and prepare data from external sources according to internal needs and quality standards;
- Contribute to building and maintaining the functionality of the data infrastructure;
- Contribute to the development of new analytical methods and tools to be used on internal/external level;
- Contribute to the creation, management, and maintenance of databases to support product development;
- Create/contribute to building data exchange solutions;
- Contribute to projects and product development;
- Collaborate with other team members and internal/external stakeholders;
- Contribute to the daily operations of the Data Management Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in mathematics, economics or computer science;
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience with SQL;
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience with Python or R;
- Relevant work experience with data analytics, statistical methods;
- Relevant work experience with data visualization tools;
- Advanced MS Excel skills;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Good understanding of corporate data, market data, fundamental data, and reference data is considered an asset;
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability;
- Adaptable, curious, creative, autonomous, solution driven personality and mindset.
