Description
- Leverage statistical forecast to plan SKUs with stable demand profiles (Forecast Class 2 & 3) and under Harvest (non-priority) category centrally.
- Implement new process and workflows focusing on exceptions. Collaborate with demand planners for transfer of key insights and market intelligence.
- Develop mechanisms to continually review historical demand and identify patterns across markets and portfolios. Exchange learnings and implement them for improvement.
- Build extensive knowledge on SAP IBP's new statistical models and improve their adoption with testing and fine tuning to drive statistical forecast accuracy performance.
- Simulate scenarios for major internal and external events with a focus on priority portfolio through statistical analysis and regression techniques for changing business needs.
- Evaluate internal & external data sets and sources of information to refine demand forecast through data mining and support the review of new platforms and opportunities (. Demand Sensing, CPFR)
- Execute a variety of data science tasks, utilizing embedded analytics and more intuitive data discovery and modeling platforms.

Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as operations research, computer science, business analytics or analytics-focused, supply chain management programs. (Master's Degree in relevant fields is preferred)
- 3+ years of supply chain planning and demand forecasting experience (Pharmaceuticals or FMCG industries preferred)
- Demonstrating proficiency in basic data discovery, preparation and visualization.
- Having ability to conduct quality assurance and/or testing of models to ensure alignment with requirements and to uncover additional opportunities for the use of embedded analytics in deployed applications.
- Experience with data science and demand forecasting techniques (. time series analysis, trend reviews, regression, simulation)
- Excellent logical reasoning, analytical skills and information technologies literacy is vital, including use of conventional statistical models and computer science literacy for data analysis (Python, SQL and/or other coding languages are preferred).
- Passionate for analytics, forecasting and planning algorithms and a fascination for big data. Tech-savvy and eager to learn new technologies and applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Experience working in a multi-national supply chain environment is preferred, comfortable in matrix management
