Data Visualization Designer

Visma is looking for a Data Visualization Designer to grow our Data & 
Analytics team, someone with the ability to visualize the story of the 
data in the most user-friendly way and constantly raising the bar of 
modern design. The ideal candidate has a technical and design background, 
with experience working in business intelligence, data journalism, and/or 
visualization design.

We want someone who not only can perform data preparation and analysis, 
but is full of imagination and puts that extra effort into giving data 
analysis-reports, and dashboards the esthetic wow-factor it deserves.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Leading assigned data analytic/visualization projects from start to 
finish.

*

Set up guidelines and best practices for dashboard design within the 
organization.

*

Create story-telling data visualizations with state-of-the-art crisp 
design.

*

Create user-friendly drill down, diagnostic reports for corporate and 
division management.

*

Assist other team members with data research & visualization.

Your skill set:

Must:

*

Experience in building interactive dashboards/visualizations.

*

Ability to visualize complex ideas in a clear, accurate and concise 
manner.

*

Parsing, scraping, cleaning, and analyzing data from a variety of 
sources.

Optional:

*

Professional experience within UX design.

*

Brief knowledge of application areas and business value for AI/ML.

*

Knowledge and experience in Descriptive and Diagnostic Analytics.

*

Any data visualization tool experience.

*

Business acumen.

You are:

Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in data 
visualization and story-telling.

*

Good analytical and statistical skills, able to draw conclusions from 
data, management information and trends.

*

Desire and ability to work in a cross-functional team, and 
communicate across divisions (., to designers, engineers, 
managers, etc.).

storage to data analysis and visualization for business insights. The
