We are looking for a talented senior DBA to join our growing DBA team.

 Responsibilities

• Work with Vertica, MongoDB, Kafka and Oracle in a complex, high-volume environment.
• Work on both bare-metal and Cloud/NFV environments.
• Work to improve database and application performance.
• Provide database knowledge and experience to other development teams.

• Create documentation and other tools for Support and Professional Services teams working at customer sites.
• Define procedures and best-practice for data-loss prevention and database resilience.

Requirements

Must have:

•  At least 3 years of experience with Oracle/Vertica as an infrastructure DBA in a Unix/Linux Environment.
• At least 2 years’ experience in DBA team.
• Experience with DB performance & Tuning.
• Ability to write shell scripts.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Java.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (OpenStack).
• Independent and a fast learner.
