The Database Analysis Developer is responsible for the maintenance and development of Regulatory Change Management’s (RCM) regulatory categorization and enhancement of compliance program management functionality. Major goals include accurate assignment of proprietary taxonomy to regulatory compliance content, meeting production deadlines, reporting progress in a timely and accurate manner, and producing high quality work output. The successful candidate will bring their innovation, critical thinking, influencing, industry and functional expertise to drive process improvement and modernization.
Duties:
- Collaborate with product operations team, vendors and internal engineering departments to understand product needs and devise possible solutions
- Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design
- Independently provide analysis on datasets of significant complexity
- Perform requirement analysis with business users (understand business problem and generate hypotheses)
- Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers
- Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field
- Practical experience with data processing, database programming and data analytics
- Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
- Familiarity with content management systems and APIs
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
- Experience with programming languages such as Java/Python an asset
- Experience with regulatory environments or financial services an asset
