Datacenter Lead (Sebes)

We’re seeking a forward-thinking, experienced, and customer-oriented Datacenter Lead. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to successfully analyze an organization's critical support requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative solutions for increasing reliability and improving productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site Data Center resources and drive Data Center activities to completion on time. Activities may include: commissioning/decommissioning/relocation of racks or equipment in support of various IT/Business goals.
• Manage relationships with Facility Managers / Equipment Vendors / Business Operators and create DC work/resource plans to support the desired IT/Business outcome Coordinate and/or support DC activities during IT outages for resolution
• Maintain ownership of DC asset documentation to ensure compliance with asset tracking and inventory provide support to AIG Group's or its authorized designee's service requests requiring off-hours, weekend, or holiday support;
• Authorize, schedule, and facilitate timely visits for authorized service/vendor/business technicians to access and perform work at DC locations;
• Develop/Maintain DC maintenance process/procedures for security compliance and support/provide audit/reports as requested Provide tracking/reporting/forecasting for all DC service history, including scheduled/unscheduled maintenance of any products or infrastructure component therein.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Active Data Center leadership experience
• People Management Skills and Relationship management
• DC management, monitoring, and documentation tools
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) backup and storage
• Basic network knowledge (routing and switching)
• Experience in Escalation Handling & Governance
