DBA Developer

We are looking for a DBA Developer to join the AUSYTeam in a challenging on-site project based in Bucharest, in the biometrics and cybersecurity field. You will design, develop, customize and maintain software components and support integration and deployment with your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex reports by writing optimized queries;
• Write SQL scripts and tools for data searches and export / import;
• Participate in the definition and implementation of data migration solutions;
• Deploy and support deployment of database solutions on customer’s site;
• Investigate, track and resolve issues related to database on customer’s site;
• Create and review technical documentation and specifications related to migration;
• Participate in design and planning activities, following Agile methodology;
• Clarify and refine requirements with Product Owner/Business Analyst;
• Be the technical reference on multiple subjects related to DB systems;
• Provide guidance and support to Application Developers;
• Install, implement and upgrade DBMS installations.

Requirements

• +6 years in database development (SQL) with exposure to different DBMS;
• Excellent knowledge of Standard SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, Transact-SQL;
• Advanced skills on working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases;
• Excellent understanding of data and schema standards and concepts;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good level in English is required, French would be a plus;
• University degree in Computer Science, Programming, Electronics or similar areas.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with database standards and end user applications;
• Database design, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance;
• Very good knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, ACID;
• Experience with Jasper reports.
