Developer for Scripting and OOP in Matlab

 Required skills:

• MATLAB scripting
• Object-Oriented Programming
• SQL/ PL SQL language
• SW development experience
• Good on Debugging and Problem finding & solving
• Autodidactic and Proactive attitude
• Fluent in English

 Will be considered a plus:

 Linux basic commands (operate with files, folders)

• Continuous Integration with Jenkins
• Automotive basic knowledge/PowerTrain
• German

 The project that we propose to you:

Akka Technologies is a global leader in engineering consulting and R&D services and works closely with the customer for its cutting edge powertrain division.

The project consists of SW development for desktop applications(tools), including back-end and front-end.

The application is designed by the customer to communicate with a database and extract information that will be further analyzed.

Afterward, the analysis results are prepared for visualization and finally graphically represented using different types of plots.

Your daily work will consist of: 

• Tool development respecting customer requirements
• Data processing and plotting using Matlab
• Database management (population, interrogation, extraction of information) using Oracle
• Debugging existing SW and fixing bugs
• Write the test for the developed functionalities
• GUI adjustment and update
• Generate reports using the developed application
• Write documentation for the implementation
• Solve JIRA tickets and version the code using SVN
