The DevOps Engineer will assist with maintaining and automating the development, staging and production infrastructure.

You will:

be acting as subject matter expert on topics such as web servers, SSL, load balancers, containers, cloud technologies, site security
work closely with infrastructure operations and development team to ensure reliability and performance in all subsystems.
Diagnose problems seen in production and advise on solutions.

(Where possible), ensure build flows are fully automated
ensure appropriate availability, reliability and scalability of applications and services

Job requirements:

Experience managing CI/CD systems, automation (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and scaling distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Nomad or Kubernetes.
Scripting experience is essential, with proven ability to pick up diverse tools and languages (. PowerShell, Ruby, Python)
Good Linux/Unix administration skills.
Infrastructure-as-Code experience (nice to have)
Exposure to Microsoft Windows Server
Experience of Microsoft environments, TFS, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio and .NET technologies is advantageous
Intermediate or upper English skills.
