DevOps Engineer

To strengthen our team we are looking effective immediately, a

 DevOps Engineer

for a full-time employment in our Iasi office.

The company:

As one of the largest IT & consulting companies offering solutions for the German and Austrian real estate market, the CalCon Group has developed the software epiqr®, a specialized solution for the complete analysis of a building portfolio. A real estate portfolio worth over € 240 bln. is currently managed with this software.

With the AiBATROS software we took the features known from epiqr® to another level. The degree of flexibility and the use of the newest technologies produced a state-of-the-art instrument for optimized data management, BIM capabilities and interoperability with other systems.

Your tasks:

As a DevOps engineer your responsibilities aim bridging the gap between software development and distribution. On a more concrete level these entail the following main areas:

• Build .NET software using automation (VisualStudio, TeamCity)
• Ensure stability and proper configuration of developed applications in various environments (Windows servers, Azure Cloud, mobile devices, etc.).
• Deploy software systems in testing and production environments using automation and various tools (Octopus, VisualStudio, TeamCity, etc.).
• Deploy upgrades and fixes.
• Manage and migrate system databases (T-SQL scripts, FluentMigrator).
• Conduct system tests for security, performance and availability.
• Analyze and debug production errors.
• Manage version control systems (Subversion, Git, etc.).
• Manage continuous integration systems (TeamCity or Jenkins).

Your profile:

• You have a degree (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) in Informatics, Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
• You have already working experience as a DevOps, tester, developer, system or network administrator.
• You have English language skills (speaking, reading and writing).
• You have previous experience with versioning systems (Subversion, Git, etc.) and continuous integration systems (TeamCity or Jenkins).
• You have coding skills: C#, Windows batch scripting, MS-SQL scripting.
• You have database basic knowledge.
• You have good understanding of web applications and networking.
• You are a good team player.
