Direct Retail Executive
(1 year temporary contract with Lugera & Makler for Philip Morris Trading SRL)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing and execution of retail commercial plans and activities in line with the direct retail business strategy to improve consumer experience.
- Establish and maintain professional contacts with agencies, suppliers, operators and third parties in order to achieve the agreed plans. Build project briefs, coordinate calls & meetings and have continuous follow ups on ongoing projects. Keep direct supervisor up-dated in all stages of the processes to ensure the Direct Retail marketing activities competitiveness, timeliness and highest quality.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise all advertising campaigns throughout the year (indoor malls and ooh) so that to reach the best possible outcome.
- Ensure brand consistency in terms of visual merchandising according with the global toolbox. Keep close collaboration with global suppliers and implement all the upgrades in due time as per the recommended timeline.
- Implement timely and flawless all approved retail commercial activities/projects. Prepare necessary GTFs, stock forecasts, HOTO docs needed in ensuring smooth deployment.
- Field visits in DR Universe to oversee in-store promotional events or displays (visuals, campaign, prizes, outfits, speeches, services) and report findings on regular basis to the Supervisor.
- Weekly documents containing updates and new initiatives to share with operational team so that to further ensure clear field coordination.
- Verify and negotiate costs with marketing suppliers for related projects. Collaborate with the Supervisor on day-to-day expenses and ensure no overspending.
- Check all direct marketing expenditures related to the assigned stream and provide reports with accurate budget status reporting of all activities (accruals, SAP, POs, year-end processes).
- Develop and enhance own professional direct retail skills, knowledge and abilities via on job training and agreed external trainings. Constantly seek opportunities to develop other relevant competencies.
- In conjunction with Corporate Affairs and Legal Counsel, ensure that all direct retail-marketing activities are, to best knowledge and advice, within the context of current legislation, local regulations and PMI policies/code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- University degree, preferably in Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance/ Computer Science;
- Experience in retail;
- Good analytical, conceptual, monitoring & reporting skills;
- Good presentation and communication capabilities;
- Able to provide creative ideas/solutions;
- Very good command of business English;
- Computer literate - MS Office package, with high focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
