The eCommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the ecommerce and brand online platforms within BAT portfolio. They will coordinate and handle decision-making for the websites and online projects derived from it. They will also be responsible for the constant optimization of the channel as well as the development of the team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Plan and deliver eCommerce strategies across BAT portfolio
  • Develop and finalize the eCommerce and brand online platforms and integrated ecosystem
  • Define and implement digital customer journeys starting from eCommerce and integrating all activation touchpoints maximizing commercial opportunities
  • Working closely with all departments to ensure the eCommerce data drives business decisions 
  • Monitor and maximize eCommerce customer lifetime value strategies 
  • Developing testing strategies for all aspects of the eCommerce to ensure the most effective approach for the company and its products
  • Overview the channel development through SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email marketing and other digital solutions
  • Manage the relationship with eCommerce suppliers (operational, creative, development)
  • Drive development of innovative and impactful eCommerce features and modules in cooperation with suppliers (digital agency, development agency, other suppliers)
  • Work closely with IT for overviewing the proper platforms infrastructure
  • Adapt cluster level digital marketing solutions
  • Develop and overview the financial plan for the channel
  • Accurate reporting and status updates as to support key decision within the coordinated campaigns
  • Evaluate executed activities and provide recommendations and solutions to enhance effectiveness of future campaigns    

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Team coordination 
  • Minimum requirement: University Degree
  • Business acumen - understanding of market dynamics
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing
  • Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability (Magento is preferred)
  • Understanding of the technology and opportunities linked to the digital commerce platforms (SEO, performance media)
  • Advanced analytical capabilities utilizing consumer/shopper/customer data
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and work independently
  • Problem solving of daily operational activities
  • Proven track record of on time in full delivery
  • Networking skills and relationship building skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, fluency in Romanian and English (both oral and written)
  • High level PC skills (LN, Word, Excel, PP, etc.)
  • Flexible and collaborative, team first, proactive attitude
  • Creative thinking alongside ability to challenge and do things differently
  • Presentation skills
