In this key role, you’ll take accountability for the Learning strategy across a wide range of international Group colleagues. You’ll use your creative flair to design, develop and deliver engaging, high-quality and interactive learning solutions, utilising a variety of multimedia to create content that feels fresh, modern and current for all colleagues.

Reporting into the Group Learning and Talent Director, and working closely alongside the People Development Manager, you will also play a key part in delivering a blended learning agenda through maximising the full functionality of the Learning Management System (CSOD/Cornerstone) in order to drive a more proactive approach to personal development.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the design and development of engaging and interactive content; blended, virtual or remote, and building web-based course content for current and new training programs. Identifying any technology or facility requirements along the way.
  • Working with key stakeholders in the business to identify training needs, presenting a proposal to them and challenging on learning content and delivery methodology, all the way through to launching content and analysing metrics
  • Applying advanced adult learning theories into a practical, application-based training strategy
  • Creating processes related to the design, development, and upkeep of training programs
  • Designing training utilising e-learning, game-based learning and other delivery methods that will support the acceleration of learning. Visualising instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
  • Analysing and applying trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc), and providing exercises and activities that will enhance the learning process.
  • Leveraging data to effectively evaluate behavioural and business impact of our training material
  • On occasion, delivering some face to face training as part of a blended learning initiative

 

About you:

  • Experience in deploying development interventions via a Learning Management System
  • Proven track record in designing, developing, creating and implementing effective and engaging eLearning courses
  • Evidence of developing a blended learning curriculum
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio / video scripts
  • Good knowledge of SCORM technologies, course development software and generally strong digital and ICT skills including use of visual design
  • Strong project management skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced and collaborative working environment!
