ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Electrical design using Eplan P8;
• Equipment choosing and dimensioning (Cables, Protections, Transformers, DC Sources, Drives, Brake Resistor, Siemens PLC is an advantage);
• Develop diagrams which integrate actuators, drives, sensors , hydraulic systems, pneumatic and safety systems;
• Submit list of materials to procurement department;
• Responsible for the quality/ price of the solution proposed;
• Test the developed system to obtain Factory Acceptance Test with possibility to participate to commissioning;
• Support to Sales & Proposals department for inquires and technical solutions;
• Project participation from the design phase through the final construction close-out;
• Design and review all the technical documentation, as per, automation architecture,  electrical diagrams, instrumentation, operator manual, etc.;
• Technical support to production;
• Develop IO list for PLC program development.

Profile:

• University degree in technical field: Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Computers;
• Good technical knowledge of Eplan P8;
• Minimum 3 years work experience in electrical design;
• Electrical design experience in marine field is an advantage
• Independent, problem solving, wiling to take a project from inquiry stages till commissioning;
• Logical, methodical thinking, ability to follow standard processes;
• Good communications skills and team player attitude;
• Highly target and result focused and quality;
• Skills to lead a project or a part of a project;
• Have knowledge of electrical measurements, commitment to troubleshooting system problems;
• A very good general understanding of technical concepts, plus the intention to acquire new knowledge;
• Ability to cope with high workload effectively;
• Good English knowledge.
