Electrical Design Engineer Low Voltage

Job description: 

You will be part of MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) & Mechanical design discipline in Arcadis Iasi office, where the team consists of experienced engineers providing consultancy from concept stage to detailed design. Our specialists are aiming for continuous improvement in order to facilitate the development of comfortable and environmentally friendly systems for modern buildings and infrastructure. The group is using the latest software solutions for computer aided engineering and computer aided design in order to provide the highest quality services, varying from 2D drafting and 3D modelling to computing and Building Information Modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical installations up to 1 kV. This includes power installations and lighting installations for interior and exterior;
• Drafting electrical plans and diagrams;
• Performing electrical calculations and lighting calculations;
• Providing recommendations to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree (Building Services or Electrical Engineering);
• Professional experience in electrical design field;
• Solid knowledge of specialized software (Elcad, Eplan, AutoCAD, Dialux etc.);
• Strong English language skills;
• Accuracy and details focus;
• Technical and quality focus;
• Great interpersonal skills (team work, supportive attitude, eager to learn, proactivity);
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
