Electrical Engineer switching gear and power electronic control cabinets

AVL List GmbH is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid,combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines.

 Your responsibilities:

 ·       Creation of circuit diagrams and illustrations of a set-up of low-voltage switching gear assembly and power electronic control gear cabinets by means of the design tool ePLAN P8

·       Handover to manufacturing in close alignment with the team at headquarters in Austria (“NPH”)

·       Close alignment with mechanical engineering for the same product (local in Romania and at headquarters in Austria)

·       Assessment, validation and design of safety engineering (functional safety)

·       Revision management and series support of electrical product design

·       Handover to manufacturing by means of SAP, conform to standardized SAP process definition

·       Creation and execution of functional tests of products – low-voltage switching gear and power electronic control gear cabinets – for prototypes and pilot series

·       Creation of technical documentation

·       Creation of technical reports

Your profile:

·       Electrical engineering or automation engineering graduate of a secondary technical college/university of applied sciences/university of technology or master craftsman qualification in these

·       Relevant experience in design and function test of low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies

·       Good experience in design tool ePlan P8 (preferred), alternative: good experience with equivalent, similar tool

·       Knowledge of tool to archive projects: ePDM (preferred), alternative: good experience with equivalent, similar tool

·         Reliable application and implementation of relevant norms and standards in regards to design and production of industrial electrical cabinets and switchgear as EU Low Voltage Directive – ENLow-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies andEG Machinery Directive – ENSafety of machinery Electrical equipment of machines, Functional Safety Norm - ISO 26262

·       Solid knowledge of principles of electrical engineering

·       SAP basic knowledge

·       Structured, accurate and reliable way of work, especially in technical documentation

·       Social competence, independent work

·       Commitment and high motivation

·       English level advance (spoken and written)
