Join our innovating Manufacturing team Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling, maintenance, overhaul and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.
Partner with the best We currently have an opportunity for an Electronic Technician, to carry out assembly and maintenance activities in our facility in Ploiesti, Romania. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing area of our business, and be part of something truly unique!
As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Working to assemble, disassemble, test and perform visual inspection of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Assisting in the reworking, repairing and modifying nonconforming equipment
- Building mechanical subassemblies and electrical harnesses
- Remaining compliant with HS&E policies and procedures

Required profile

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have vocational academy or apprenticeship within a relevant field (Mechatronics/Industrial mechanics or FMCG/medical sectors) or fresh starter with keen interest in Electronics
- Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Have the ability to assemble prints and parts lists, follow formal procedures, and maintenance practices
- Have interest in soldering and/or assembling of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical devices
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments. Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes. Advanced computer skills. Versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices. Basic level of analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems. Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.
- Have good spoken and written English communication skills with basic computer skills
- Have good teamwork skills, with a focused and reliable attitude.
- Qualifications Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronic or Electrical field.
- If required, be available to work on shift, be on-call, travel in and outside Romania
