Email Marketing Strategist

We are currently looking for an energetic and a pro-active colleague to join our team in Bucharest as: Email Marketing Strategist

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Define, drive and implement a coherent email marketing strategy aligned with other marketing initiatives

• Manage the operations of the email marketing channel – defines the marketing calendar, drives the strategy and content, build and deploy email marketing campaigns, conducts A/B testing to optimize campaigns

• Build and manage automated email marketing programs and workflows

• Collaborate with the Creative team to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails

• Analyze data and insights to continuously test, measure and optimize the email marketing programs

• Ensure emails adhere to email best practice regarding links, content, deliverability, device optimization

• Work proactively on marketing and brands growth strategies with the team

• Provide creative guidance to internal creative team in order to have the most suitable content for each campaign, brand or product

• Maintain a high level of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in email marketing

• Collaborate with other of team members or the creative team to develop strategies for email marketing campaigns

Your core competencies and skills:

• English language proficiency

• Graduate in marketing, advertising, economics or related discipline

• Strong understanding of Google Suite (., Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.), Microsoft Office, or similar PM software, Slack and other collaboration tools and environments

• 5+ year of experience in email marketing, preferably within an e-commerce business

• Excellent understanding of email marketing service providers and marketing automation technologies

• Hands on experience with Klaviyo service platforms is a plus

• High Analytical person with an understanding of key email marketing KPIs and an ability to use data and insights to drive decision making. Strong focus on results.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in defining and managing marketing automation workflows

• Strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising industry

• Highly self-organized, multitask and realign priorities as needed

• Exhibit enthusiasm, passion, commitment and willingness to learn
