Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

●Design, implementation and validation of embedded software . Board Support Packages (BSP) for custom hardware systems.

●Design, implementation and test of software drivers for a variety of peripheral devices commonly used in embedded hardware systems. 

●Development of hardware test code, support bring-up and validation of custom embedded hardware systems.

●Provide customer support.

●Work independently.

Requirements:

●Prolonged experience with Embedded Software (4-6 years).

●Knowledge of BitBake task execution engine build system.

●Knowledge of Yocto based Linux / preferably WR Linux (Kernel + User space).

●Kernel maintainer ability and deep knowledge of GIT.

●Highly skilled in fault identification, isolation and bug fixes.

●Ability of working with the Open-Source Community, pushing fixes, talking with maintainers, etc.

●Capacity to deal with security CVE's Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE patches backporting, etc.)●Knowledge of CPU architectures ARM, x86.

●Networking/Telecom knowledge are a plus.

●Uboot experience is highly appreciated.

●On/Offsite and customer facing roles.

●Excellent communication skills and ability to manage the customer building steps together.
