Embedded Software Developer

Job description:

• Firmware design and development for our Laboratory Liquid Handling Products used in worldwide Medical and Research Instruments:
  • Micro litter pipetting modules (Zeus )
  • Liquid Aspirating and dispensing equipment’s (high precision PSD/4)

• Be part of an interdisciplinary teams
  • Embedded Software, Hardware and Mechanical Development
• Embedded software implementation using C/C++ as main programming language
• Create documentation for all development cycles
• Embedded software debugging and code base maintenance
• Embedded software maintenance for existing Hamilton products
• Create custom change requests from Hamilton Customers
• Support our products in the second level support phase (production support)
• Embedded software testing
• System integration support

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Technical University degree (preferably Computer Science / Electronics)
• Experience more than 2 years in developing embedded software
• Strong skills in C and C++ firmware development
• Experienced with testing and debugging
• Basic understanding of electronic (uC and electrical motor drives)
• Good English skills
• A good team player, creative thinking, self-responsible
