Embedded Software Developer

Job description:

• Firmware design and development for our Laboratory Liquid Handling components and instruments like:
  • Micro litter pipetting modules
  • Liquid Aspirating and dispensing equipment’s (high precision pumps)
  • Laboratory diluting units with GUI and web applications (LIMS)
• Be part of an interdisciplinary teams
  • Embedded Software, Hardware and Mechanical Development
• Embedded software implementation using C/C++ as main programming language
• Create documentation for all development cycles
• Software maintenance for existing Hamilton products
• Support our products in the second level support phase
• Embedded software testing
• Hardware and test team support
• System integration support

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Technical University degree (preferably Computer Science / Electronics);
• Experience more than 2 years in developing embedded software;
• Strong skills in C and C++ firmware development;
• Strong skills in testing and debugging;
• Basic understanding of electronic (uC and electrical motor drives);
• Good English skills
• A good team player, creative thinking, self-responsible ;
