Engineer for end-of-line test automation

AVL List GmbH is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains

(hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines.

Your responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for commissioning TestStand and LabVIEW based automation systems for end-of-line testing of inverters.

- You will put EOL test software into operation at the customer's site and adapt it to the respective field of application.

- You will implement customer-specific test runs and evaluation algorithms.

- You carry out software updates of the test software on the EOL computer and put it into operation.

- In your function, you create the application-relevant documentation.

- You act independently with regard to functionality, deadlines and costs.

Your profile:

- You have a successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field of study.

- You have professional experience in the field of automation engineering.

- You have good TestStand and/or LabVIEW knowledge and are familiar with the associated NI data acquisition systems.

- You have experience with the programming languages C, C++, C#

- You have experience with bus communication like CAN, XCP, UDS etc.

- You have knowledge of VECTOR and NI hardware

- Technology inspires you. In addition, you have the ability to think interdisciplinary and work in a structured way. You show a high level of initiative and commitment.

- You are fluent in written and spoken English, ideally also in German.

- You are able to communicate and work in a team.

- Willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time in Europe, sometimes worldwide.
