English Support Engineer (Only Weekend Shift)

The Technical Support Engineer will be a part of our Emergency Response Center team and the first point of contact for server and software incidents. The ERC Engineer will follow escalation plans in order to solve incoming issues, periodically test our important services functionality and response time and can also help a limited number of customers with important problems if these occur.

Responsibilities:

• Servers and services monitoring;
• Receive alerts related to our services status;
• Follow escalation plans for solving incidents
• Collaborate with team members and customer technical staff to resolve problems;
• Sometimes support clients for solving functionality issues;
• Maintain a log with the encountered incidents;
• Attend trainings related to changes in monitored services and escalation plans;
• Suggest improvements for the activity in the team;

• Flexible work hours
• Work in weekend shifts, 2 weekends a month, 12 hours Saturday / 12 hours Sunday ,day or night shift
• Report directly to ERC Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or student with technical background;
• Experience with Windows services and/or servers;
• Knowledge about Web services is a plus but not mandatory;
• Familiar with Internet Information Server (IIS) is a plus but not mandatory;
• Good command of English language;
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization is a plus;
• Strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude;

• Willingness to learn new things
• Previous support experience is a plus.
