For our Project Documentation team in the Offshore Project Management organization, we are looking for an experienced Project Documentation Manager.
The Project Documentation team is responsible for defining the standards, processes, and tools related to the delivery of the documentation scope for our large Offshore wind farms. The team members are responsible for managing the timely and quality delivery of the documentation scope on our various execution projects. The candidate for this position will engage in the Sales phase, aligning the documentation scope with our customers and internal stakeholders, as well as setting up the document management system.
This is truly a gate keeper role: a job well done will enable efficient and effective execution of the aligned scope later in the project.
We have high ambitions for continuously improving our performance in the area of project documentation management, and are therefore looking for motivated, experienced candidates to drive this agenda.
How to contribute to our vision
As our new Product Documentation Manager you will be a main contact for our Sales teams, supporting them in aligning the documentation scope of a project during the Sales phase (both with the customer and internally) just as you will ensure the processes and tools to be followed and used for project documentation delivery are addressed and aligned early in the project.
You are able to systematically to incorporate Lessons Learned from the Execution projects into the Sales phase and current standards and processes
You drive the use of our defined standards to ensure efficient execution during the project lifetime
As an experienced member of the team, you support the team lead in defining and improving standards in project documentation management
Please note that interviewing for this position will start in August.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working as a document controller, records manager or documentation manager in large infrastructure projects and you are highly knowledgeable about best practice in project documentation management.
To be a success in the role:
- You have an affinity for IT and have used various document management systems
- You are structured, persistent, diligent, and “a finisher”
- You can handle simultaneous assignments and enjoy working with diverse teams
- Your written and spoken English are (close to) that of a native speaker
