Expert Civil&Structural Engineering

Your Tasks

• Holds broad accountability for the field of civil and structural engineering / design within Upstream and for developing and applying specific regulations (standards, philosophies, guidelines, and procedures), ensuring management objectives with medium and large impact on surface facilities within all Business Unit;
• Ensures the compliance with the design standards for engineering activities (incl. quality standards) assists technology selection and acts as knowledge centre for the field, with a technical know-how at advanced vocational level;
• Support Civil & Structural Engineering Department Manager for Civil and Structural discipline and could act as Technical Authority Level 1 or 2 in the field of his/her expertize, provides support when requested in TCCP (Technical Change Control Panel) and steering committees, comprising an active management breadth for defining problems and analysis, in order to provide the right solutions;
• Ensures technical expertise and support for swift execution of engineering design for all projects post-TG2 in HQ and Assets, provide technical solutions & support for functions (Procurement, HSSE etc.), personal human relations skills being important for accomplishing the duties and tasks of the department;
• Ensures compliance with Romanian laws & regulations, European standards and Company philosophies/standards/specifications in all projects;
• Participates in project technical reviews, assessments and audits;
• Defines scope of works and prepare tender documents, perform bid reviews.

Your Profile

• MSc (Diploma Engineer) in civil and structural engineering and minimum of 8 years experience in civil and structural engineering in Oil & Gas Upstream industry;
• In depth knowledge of relevant standards, norms and regulations;
• Focus on the activity and swift delivery of results;
• Experienced in conceptual design studies, FEED, detailed design. Knowledge of the local environment and operations is an advantage;
• Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge in relevant engineering software applications;
• Networking and communication skills. Leadership attributes;
• Languages minimum requirement: English and Romanian intermediate.
