Finance Business Partner - South District

In this role you have the opportunity to

Drive and grow business value by setting and achieving financial and strategic targets for Personal Health division within Philips. You will be a crucial stakeholder in driving profitable growth, creating new business models and coordinating financial activities in Romania, the Adriatic countries and South Balkans.

You are responsible for

  • Providing quality financial support to the business, proactively advising Management Teams in order to achieve financial and business goals;
  • Shaping Profit and Loss (P&L) and all financial KPIs, overall cost management;
  • Maintaining ROI mindset in organization;
  • Managing the District’s business planning process (AOP/Rolling Forecast) in cooperation with local Management Teams, CEE Management Team and global FP&A team;
  • Actively participating, if not driving, the monthly Management Performance Meetings;
  • Providing variance analysis and articulates business financial results and plans;
  • Managing customers credit limits;
  • Mitigating risks in the district through conscientious consideration and practice of policies, and procedures, supervising and executing internal control standards, working with stakeholders inside and outside of Finance to address identified risks and financial process issues;
  • On top of providing financials insights, also act as a business partner in the leadership team to bring a different perspective, a financial, data based decision process;
  • Closing the books at the end of the month in cooperation with Philips Accounting Operations and outsourced accounting partner;
  • Taking ownership for Personal Health finances, being single point of contact;
  • Performing and preparing ad hoc business analysis;
  • Being a key user for SAP, standardized reports, Business Warehouse (QlikView).

You are a part of

CEE Finance team reporting to Finance Business Partner CEE/19 countries. You will be the Business Partner for District South Management Team. You will work closely with marketing, trade marketing, digital, order desk and sales departments as well as internal and external accounting operations teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Economics, Finance and/or Accounting;
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial control, cost accounting, management reporting and business analyses;
  • Working relevant experience within a multinational, matrix organization;
  • Experience with management accounting, business acumen;
  • Strong Excel skills and SAP knowledge (or other ERP knowledge);
  • Strong knowledge of internal control processes and systems;
  • Experience with month-end/year end close process and financial reporting;
  • Deep understanding of the global business environment and end-user insight;
  • Results oriented: take personal accountability to deliver results;
  • Good communication and influencing skills, team player;
  • ACCA certification would be an asset;
  • Fluent English both oral and written.
