Finance controller

Description:

We are looking for a Finance Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including management accounting and financial reporting; Actual/FCST/BDGT preparation and variances analysis, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

The candidate, who will report to the Head of Finance, must be able to work independently on a variety of areas, topics and to interact with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Areas of responsibility:

• Regular monthly controlling tasks (reporting, month end closing procedure, sales & discounts calculation, cost center analysis);
• Monitor actual performance versus budget/forecast, identify and explain deviations;
• Support planning process: budget, long term plan, forecast;
• Perform complex analysis necessary to the management in the decision-making process;
• Preparing financial reports and presentations for the management team and HQ;
• Ad-hoc projects (further development and implementation of controlling system/tools, business cases);
• Purchase invoice compilation in SAP & other accounting journal entries.

Your profile:

• University degree in finance/accounting or economics;
• Relevant working experience in Controlling/Financial Analysis and Accounting (Pharma is a plus);
• Effective communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks;
• MS Office proficient (MS Excel above average);
• Excellent user of an accounting system; SAP experience preferred;
• Advanced English level, both written and spoken;
