Financial Controller, Bucharest, Romania – FCR/01/20

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic
environment. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the Finance, Accounting and Tax
functions of the Group and will report to and support the CFO of the Group.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include:
Ensure that all financial information (. Monthly Management Accounts, Financial Statements, Forecasts
etc.) is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
Supports in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, cost accounting and internal controls
throughout the operations of the Group
Ensure compliance with internal controls and that financial policies and procedures are developed and
updated
Monitor and oversee the analysis of key performance indicators (financial and operational) and trends and
provide necessary information to Management
Liaising with external consultants to ensure Responsible for the timely filing of VAT and other Tax forms and
ensure payment of Company’s obligations to tax authorities, suppliers and other parties
Assume responsibility for monitoring and reviewing stock levels in collaboration with relevant departments
Liaise with external associates such as auditors and banks
Support in enhancing the department’s efficiency (. through the use of appropriate technologies etc.)
Undertake various ad-hoc projects as requested

Requirements
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field
Member of a Professional Accounting Body (ACA/ ACCA/CPA) will be considered as an advantage
At least 5 years holding similar position in the industry is a must.
Experience in the retail industry will be considered an advantage
Experience in Navision will be considered an advantage
Dynamic with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
Excellent relationship, building and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Fluency in Romanian and English
