Financial Controller

DP World Logistics Romania is recruiting a “Financial Controller”, for our Office in Bucharest, as per below details:

General description of the job:

Job holder will undertake all aspects related to:

• Financial accounting (general ledger, accounts payable/ accounts receivable, cash - including planning/ forecast, preparing statutory accounts);
• Tax reporting (VAT declaration, profit tax declaration, stay on top of law changes, miscellaneous Romanian tax declarations);
• Group reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly, regular communication/ interaction with Group CFO, initiating & preserving administrative procedures (internal control);
• Payroll: accounting, compliance with tax/social laws;
• Operations: internal control function; create, implement and maintain financial & controlling procedures; support for Operation Dept.

 Main responsibilities of the job:

• Coordinates and direct preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;
• Coordinates the preparation of regulatory reporting;
• Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Contact person for: Banks, Auditors, Tax authorities, Insurance.

Qualifications and experience requirements:

•  Master in Finance;
• 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position;
• Advanced knowledge of accounting, tax, IFRS;
• MS Word/ Advanced Excel/ Power Point;
• Fluent English.

• Able to make financial information "user friendly" to non-financial end users;
