The Financial Controller will be responsible for verifying the month-end and year-end financial reports. It will be
responsible for establishing processes, financial reporting, and management reporting, financial analysis and
will work directly with the CFO to develop a high-performance finance function.
Your knowledge & qualifications:
- 3-5 years post qualified experience, ideally with exposure on construction industry, commercial real estate and/or educational industry
- Finance, Accounting or Economics studies and proven accounting knowledge
- ERP/Accounting Software operational knowledge
- CECCAR certificate, Nice to have: ACCA / CFA /CPA
- Excellent communicator who can deal effectively with financial and non-financial people
- Confidence in decision making and reporting on the performance of the business to the Chief Financial Officer, General Manager and other stakeholders
- Advanced English knowledge
- Driver license B category
Financial Control
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Design and implement financial processes and controls across all the business units in the Group
- Manage internal and external audits for the Group ensuring all issues are highlighted in a timely manner and corrective action is taken
- Participate in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
- Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
- Management of Payables and Receivables
Reporting
- Weekly / Monthly reporting to the BOD and Management teams for each business unit
- Elaborate a reporting suite for each business unit
- Develop and upgrade reporting structures and tools embracing digital technology and automation
Business Partnering
- Provide finance support to the business units managers as required
- Assist the CFO in developing a high performing finance team that helps the business deliver on ambitious growth targets
- Promote, encourage, and enhance a strong control environment while building on the existing continuous improvement culture
