FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Main responsibilities:

• Provides support to the Plant Controller in drafting the company's P&L (actual and forecast figures);
• Responsible for highlighting the main deviations vs. Budget and future forecasts;
• Manages the reconciliation between managerial account and statutory account;
• Ensures a well-documented bridge between the accounting records in ERP system, for Managerial as well as statutory;
• Follows and controls the production declaration, consumption and other movements related to inventories, preparing the production reports and reconciling with the Trial Balance;
• Follows up the scrap level and analyzes the main deviations;
• Responsible for warehouse monitoring (rotation indexes, rejects, obsolescence);
• Provides support for the yearly stock counting, maintaining the relation with the auditors regarding inventories;
• Prepares, generates, and files the financial inventory reports - statutory reporting;
• Gathers information for cost accruals for month-end closing;
• Draws up reports for the parent company and other group reporting;
• Responsible for analyzing the product margins;
• Provides support regarding the month-end and year-end closing process accordingly with Group Accounting Principles and Local GAAP.

The ideal candidate:

• English language – advanced level;
• MS Office (Excel) – advanced level;
• Experience in a multinational company, work with different evaluation systems of inventories and various accounting principles;
• Ability to understand group regulations and reconciliation with statutory regulations;
• Open-minded person, available to work extra hours during closing times and with very tight deadlines.
