We are looking for a Financial controller to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Financial department. Our future colleague will be involved in managing financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

You will also be involved in auditing financial documents and procedures, and calculating tax payments and returns. In your activity, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
  • Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Securing financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
  • Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Ensuring compliance with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, proven work experience in a financial department;
  • Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting, finance or related discipline;
  • Advanced writing & verbal skills in English;
  • Knowlegde of MS Suite (Excel, Word);
  • Strong attention to details and good analytical skills;
  • Good time management skills – deadline oriented;
  • Great communication skills and positive attitude;
  • Ability to work well in a team and to adapt easily;
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of service.
