Firewall Security Specialist

We are looking for 2 new colleagues to join our Firewall Security team, where you will work in a  friendly environment, in the city centre of Cluj-Napoca, with 60 other colleagues around, enjoying friendship, great coffee and great empathy and support for who you are and what you want to achieve. 

[Due to the Covid-19 situation, most of us work remotely, until further directions from authorities].

Job responsibilities & technical skills 

• Network knowledge in all OSI-Layers
• Working on CheckPoint firewalls deployment - first experience in Checkpoint is a plus;
• Organising, prioritising and solving the tasks based on Kanban process;
• Problem solving skills – Common knowledge in firewall technologies;
• Implementing work tasks – firewall relevant changes and working on incidents. Roll out of new firewall rules, worldwide;
• Troubleshooting in Networks and Security. Direct interaction with the customer for support and clarifications. Operations on customer’s firewall infrastructure;
• Basic Linux/Unix skills desired;
• Active directory, ILO interface;
• Customer service – Experience in dealing with Enterprise customers.

• Being open minded to new projects and tasks (adapt, learn);
• Be able to work with colleagues in different cultures;
• Attention to details – examining every aspect of the system to guarantee security and sport computer bugs or anomalous activity;
• Time management – it’s common for our daily tasks to be multitasking, as we often take several tasks in the same time;
• Being dedicated / motivated to complete the tasks as quickly as possible. SLAs are mandatory to be followed.
